His roots lie in a large family of artists, and through this he has always had an affinity for drawing, designing, and building. After completing his MTS in Construction Engineering, Dick began working in architecture, which motivated him to further his education. After earning his part-time Interior Architecture degree from the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam, he worked with various interior architects, gaining experience and knowledge, mostly as a draftsman and assistant designer, using tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Vectorworks. He strives for a pleasant, dynamic, and transparent working environment. He lives with his girlfriend and two dogs in Dronten, Flevoland. In his free time, Dick has a great passion for photography, focusing on subjects such as architecture, landscapes, portraits, and urban exploration. Additionally, he enjoys gardening, has his own greenhouse, and loves growing vegetables and fruits. He also loves listening to music, whether it be classical, modern, or film scores.
