Vismarkt - Hulst
We came into contact with the entrepreneur and owner of the Albert Heijn XL in Hulst, through our network in Zeeland. We were asked to transform part of the supermarket into a fish market, where people can buy fresh fish, and either take them home or eat them on the spot. First of all, a concept was devised for the routing -which is a key part of this project- and ways to improve the market’s visibility were considered. The important thoughts for this were; “where do the customers come from, how does the customer journey come about and where do people prefer to sit”. Colors and materials were determined on the basis of the ’look & feel concept’ that we determined together with the client, in which a moodboard and reference images were also used to properly communicate the concept. Through the use of oak wood, ceramic tiles, soft salmon colors and graphics; the concept radiates an atmosphere of professionalism and coziness.
